Position Summary

Breakdown Specialist:

• Responsible for assisting the maintenance department in a safe and efficient manner by providing breakdown assistance spread across the nation and companywide. 
• This position requires substantial use of discretion and independent judgment in that the breakdown specialist compares and evaluates different courses of conduct regarding the manner in which breakdown assistance will be provided, and then chooses the option that, in the breakdown specialist’s opinion, maximizes safety and efficiency. 
• This position also requires the use of discretion and independent judgment when working with shops and vendors to ensure that equipment is able to operate safely.
