Local PUD Carrier Partners

Forward is looking for carrier partners to service routes in the San Francisco, CA area. Pickups and deliveries will be palletized freight going to/from commercial and residential areas.  Routes are generally 80/20 commercial to residential on average [this varies as needed, routes are determined daily depending on volume.] 

Average Weekly Gross: $2,700 - $2,900/ Week *Based on average stop count completion of 50-60 stops/week*

Schedule: [Monday - Friday], weekends if necessary (notification should be provided)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Delivering items in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
• Ability to safely maneuver items with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to comprehend and utilize mobile dispatching technology.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to make an average of 14 stops per day.

Requirements: 

• 24ft-26ft box truck with a lift gate. Can be a truck that you own, rent or lease.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Active MC authority and DOT number with the FMCSA (6 months minimum)
• Must be 21 years of age.
• TSA Certified (Or willing to become certified)

  • General Liability: $1,000,000
  • Auto: $1,000,000
  • Cargo Liability:  $100,000
  • Workers Comp: Based on state requirements
