KANE Transport, Inc. is a Minnesota based petroleum and freight carrier providing service to the upper Midwest. We are accepting applications for a Transload Operator position, based in our Inver Grove Heights, MN terminal. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Inspection of Transloader for proper/safe operation
• Inspection of rail car for proper/safe filling
• Proper attachment of tanker hoses to transloader and transloader hoses to rail car for proper transfer of liquid product
• Must be able to work with hot and or hazardous product
• Collect and verify that the proper product matches the required BOL paperwork
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all employees, customers and management personnel
• Must be able to read/write in English in order to follow all OSHA, FRA, DOT and company policies/procedures
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

• Must be able to lift 60 plus pounds
• Ability to work extended hours in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights
• Must be able to wear required PPE and OSHA required fall protection
• Must be able to follow all safety procedures to minimize spills, mixes and etc.
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Work Experience & Education Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience or exposure to Hazardous Materials
